Hi, I’m Diana!

Flicking through a pocket guide on Romania I came across this: "Romania is a marvelous country despite its own best efforts over the years not to be.” It made me think and I can only agree with it; unlike our neighbors, we never tried to make a good impression. On the contrary. This, quite a few other things I read in travel guides and books on Romania (some absolutely hilarious inaccuracies), the ongoing questions on Dracula, Transylvania, vampires, Ceausescu etc I've been asked in the last few years, are only a few of my reasons to start Visiting-Romania.com. It's going to be different, it's going to be personal, I'll enjoy every minute of it and if it brings a few smiles then I can't wish for more!

Before we get started, there are 2 guys you should meet:

Vlad Lipovanu

Absolutely love working with Vlad: talented, energetic and very, very creative! Really happy when I discovered we “speak the same language”; blame him for Visiting Romania’s look and feel! Not sure if he ever sleeps (doesn’t let others get much sleep either), hates talking about himself (explains why I had to write this), never dull and often looking for trouble ;)

Georgiana Gavriluta

Adopted as my young “niece”, Georgiana gives off positive vibes;her enthusiasm inspires and motives us and we need it most! Blame her for researching and putting together our Festival index.
